Principal's Message

Hello Panther Families!

Thank you for visiting our website for Maricopa Wells Middle School - Home of the Panthers! On this site, you can expect to see all necessary information as it pertains to the students and current events.

Our campus purpose begins with our Vision Statement:
“Prepare our students for success at the high school level… and beyond.”

We have a very strong, experienced staff here at Maricopa Wells, and I am proud to work with each and every one of them. We are all on the same page when it comes to our commitment of preparing our students for a successful future, and we all love to see the progression of our students on these levels.

We have about 930 unique students at Maricopa Wells, and we are growing each week. Our core classes include Honors courses, which aim to push our students to their highest academic potential. We offer a wide range of elective classes including art, advanced art, Spanish, graphic design, band, advanced band, drama, dance, orchestra, choir, graphic design, chrome book repair, coding, health, high school prep for our 8th graders, and of course, physical education. We also include an elective course we call Panther Prep, which is designed to help our students increase their math proficiency. We have two different cohorts of our 20+1 Blended Learning Program, which offers a distinctive, project based
educational alternative for many of our students. We are proud of our class offerings and are continuing to add more each year.

For students interested in athletics, we offer many different sports during the year for girls and boys. With our commitment to strong academic progress, we expect our students to maintain a high-level of eligibility in order to compete on the field or court.

In order to keep our student academic progress at the forefront, we offer an excellent online system, ParentVue, for parents and guardians to keep track of the academic progress of your student. Please see our front office to make sure that is all set up.
